Samsung tested two new products in its wearable line of accessories Gear, the news comes from a source familiar that tests devices, announced VentureBeat. The first is a new generation Gear Fit fitness tracker and the second are wireless, Bluetooth headsets IconX. The source provided photos of the devices, but specifications are missing.
Fit 2 is the successor to the Gear Fit, introduced in 2014, the first fitness tracker with 1.84-inch Super AMOLED display. Besides the curved ergonomic design, this version will add and GPS chip-set that improves the accuracy of the applications that measure distances and location.
More interesting are the wireless headsets Gear IconX. The brand was patented by Samsung earlier this year, but only now we can seeing the first results of the final product.
They are dust and waterproof and can be used as a fitness tracker, and as a separate digital music player. This is thanks to 4 GB of flash memory, which is integrated into the handset.
At this stage there is no information about the price and availability of new devices from Samsung.
