TELUS To Release Android Nougat Update for Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P on August 22nd

Some rumors hinted that the much awaited Android 7.0 Nougat will roll out sometime in August, and now that we’re almost at the end of the third week, there’s some news about its roll out.

Canadian carrier TELUS recently updated their software update support page and revealed that Google Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will get the Android 7.0 Nougat Update on August 22nd.

The date is mentioned on the company’s support page, but it’s worth mentioning that this is not set in stone, and it’s possible that it may get delayed due to unseen circumstances. We’re hoping it happens on the above mentioned date, but don’t keep your hopes too high.

Several manufacturers have already confirmed that their flagship devices are going to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update soon, but none them gave an exact timeframe on when the customers can expect the new operating system to land on their devices.
