ekken 7 has been officially announced for PlayStation 4.

Sony revealed the news early in its Paris Games Week conference, before later announcing that it would feature virtual reality support via PlayStation VR.

Sony said that it would be the most complete version of the game, before showing fans a trailer.

The video celebrates 20 years of the iconic fighting series, and also previews the game’s story.

Officially announced at Evo 2014, Tekken 7 is being built with the ‘powerful and easy-to-use’ Unreal Engine 4.

According to game producer Katsuhiro Harada, the upcoming release will be darker in tone than previous Tekken games.
