Microsoft’s snazzy Surface Book is available to buy in the UK
Microsoft’s answer to Apple’s laptop range, the Surface Book, is finally available to buy in the UK.
You can pick one up from Currys/PC World, John Lewis, Selfridges and Harrods, as well as Amazon, Very.co.uk and the Windows firm’s official website.
Microsoft’s Surface Book is a convertible laptop that comes with varying specs depending on how much the customer is willing to spend.
At one end of the scale is the 128GB model, which packs a Core i5 Skylake processor and 8GB of RAM, for £1,299.
The range-topping model includes 512GB of storage, a Core i7 chip, 16GB of RAM, and a separate graphics card in the base for £2,249. All versions come with a pen stylus for your drawing and sketching needs.
Customers who are hoping to replace their existing laptop or tablet with a Surface Book can take advantage of Microsoft’s trade-in programme, which allows users to part-exchange a MacBook, iPad and older Surface slate. Full details can be found on the firm’s website.
