Motorola confirms full list of devices that’ll be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat

Motorola today became the latest Android manufacturer to share its Nougat update plans.

Motorola has confirmed that several of its devices will receive Android 7.0 Nougat updates. The rollout will begin in Q4 2016 with the Moto Z and Moto G (4th Gen). There are many other smartphones that’ll receive an update to Android 7.0, though. Here’s the full list:

  • Moto G (4th Gen)
  • Moto G Plus (4th Gen)
  • Moto G Play (4th Gen)
  • Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen)
  • Moto X Style
  • Moto X Play
  • Moto X Force
  • Droid Turbo 2
  • Droid Maxx 2
  • Moto Z
  • Moto Z Droid
  • Moto Z Force Droid
  • Moto Z Play
  • Moto Z Play Droid
  • Nexus 6

For most of these devices, it’s no surprise that Motorola has a Nougat update planned. For example, the Moto G and Moto Z are its newest phones, and the Moto X Pure Edition is its flagship from last year. It’s always good to get confirmation, though, so if you’ve got one of the phones named above, you can rest easy knowing that an Android 7.0 update is coming your way. Now you just have to wait.
