If you are for reasons to buy HTC 8S we could give you plenty. If you want a phone that will stand out from the crowd in terms of design and color, then this phone may be just worth your attention. It comes in a lot of bright neon colors and usually in contrast. It is available in green, navy, black and red, and all colors are in two tones. The red has an orange base, while the green has a neon green base. The phone is sleek and fits well in the hand, while the rubber coating will protect the phone form an odd tumble. The weight is around 113 grams and feels feather light.

The HTC 8S has a reasonable price range of 230$, which will make it affordable for most Windows 8 enthusiasts. The camera and the screen quality are good but not outstanding, which is usual for a phone in this price range. The headphone jack is positioned at the top, which usual for smart phones these days, and it does have a dedicated camera button that makes camera accessibility really easy. The real bonus here is that HTC has included a microSD card slot. This is really unusual for Windows phones, so it’s a great step by HTC to include this feature.

THE NEW HTC 8S WINDOWS 8 PHONE REVIEW

The HTC 8S runs on the Windows Phone 8 operating system. It has really fun looking icons and gives a modern feel to the interface. There are a lot of nice graphics and effects that are built into the OS, like the 3D tear effect on the home screen. One of the best features of the HTC 8S OS is the People Hub. This is sort of a centre where you can view all your contacts and get all the social network feeds from your friends and work place colleagues.

On the downside however, there are very few apps available for this phone, except for a substandard navigation system, and a weather app. There is a Beats Audio option but it only offers a limited number of simple audio enhancer options.  The phone has a 1Gz dual core processor and only 4GB of memory space, but you can boost that up with memory cards.
